Last year, CupcakKe announced her intention to quit the music industry. The Chicago MC has clearly scrapped those plans, however, as she’s spent 2020 releasing a new single every couple of months. While the “Bodak Yellow” star did not specify who bought the billboard for her, fans in the comments believe that the gift came from Offset. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset on in September after a three year marriage, according to the Fulton County Magistrate in Georgia. Tory Lanez has been charged with felony assault in connection with the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. According to TMZ, the Canadian rapper/singer (born Daystar Peterson) is facing one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. If convicted, he faces up to 22 years in prison. Lanez was initially arrested in mid-July following in incident in which Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the foot.
