Kanye West To Employ Homeless People for Upcoming Yeezy Collab, Fashion Show

Kanye West’s latest fashion venture involves assistance from some unlikely newcomers. TMZ reports the rapper and business mogul has partnered with David Sabastian, the founder of streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week, for a forthcoming Yeezy collaboration that would give people without homes the opportunity to model the clothes they made themselves. Skid Row Fashion Week donates a portion of all sales to those living on Skid Row, a neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles known for its large homeless community. SRFW’s factory also employs people experiencing homelessness. Ye’s collaboration with the brand, which is scheduled to drop February 22nd, will go one step further by funneling 100% of the proceeds back to Skid Row’s residents, who also have a hand in designing the brand’s clothing. Post Malone, the chart-topping pop star with the million-dollar smile, has announced that his next album is called twelve carat toothache. In a wide-ranging conversation with Billboard, Posty said that the follow-up to 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding would clock in at 45 minutes, his shortest album to date. California rapper Baby Keem broke out in a big way last year, and now he’s returning to the road for a Spring 2022 tour spanning the United States. The 28-date trek kicks off on March 7th in Cincinnati, and includes stops in New York City, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, and San Francisco. Slim Jxmmi, one-half of the chart-topping duo Rae Sremmurd, has been arrested for battery after allegedly attacking his girlfriend and mother of his child. According to the Miami Dade Department of Corrections, Slim Jxmmi, who was born Aaquil Brown, was arrested Tuesday morning and taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. Under remarks, law enforcement officials noted, “Domestic Violence.” TMZ spoke to the arresting officers, reporting that Brown became angry when his girlfriend asked questions about a woman he was following on Twitter. The people have spoken: Cardi B was the victim of an Invasion of Privacy. Today (January 24th), a federal jury ruled that a woman’s YouTube videos and social media posts about Cardi B were, in fact, defamatory, ending a two-week trial and awarding the rapper a cool $1.25 million. Born Belcalis Almánzar, Cardi B sued Latasha Kebe in 2019 over a “malicious campaign” to tarnish her reputation.
