Vic Mensa Arrested for Felony Drug Possession
Vic Mensa was arrested at Dulles International Airport in Fairfax, VA on Saturday night after allegedly being found in possession of mushrooms, LSD, and other psychedelic drugs. The Chicago rapper had just returned from a trip to Ghana when he was pulled aside by U.S. Customs Agents for a secondary search. They discovered 41 grams of LSD, 124 grams of psilocybin capsules, 178 grams of psilocybin gummies, and six grams of psilocybin mushrooms concealed inside of Mensa’s luggage. FBI Joins Astroworld Investigation, Launches Website for Evidence Collection
The FBI has joined the Houston Police Department in investigating the circumstances that led to the deadly crowd rush at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival back in November. “Houston Police Detectives have already viewed countless hours of video evidence as part of our ongoing investigation into the Astroworld event,” HPD wrote on Twitter on Friday (January 14th). “To ensure that we have captured all evidence for a complete investigation, we have parterned with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for additional technical assistance. Miami rapper Wavy Navy Pooh was killed in an ambush shooting as he drove with two young children, local media reported. The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name was Shandler Beaubien, was stopped at a light Friday evening (Jan. 14) when a car pulled alongside and someone inside opened fire, killing him, the Miami Herald and WPLG-TV reported. Two children, ages 5 and 1, and a woman were also in his car but it were not hurt.
