Two Senate Democrats are urging federal regulators to take “corrective actions” against Tesla to prevent further misuse of the company’s advanced driver assist feature. The request comes in the aftermath of a fatal crash in which two men from Texas were killed after their Tesla Model S crashed with no one in the driver’s seat. Obe Noir, who was raised in the same housing projects as George Floyd, was found dead from gunshot wounds in the city’s downtown section. Local publication The Houston Chronicle reports that Noir, real name Xavier Roberson was shot and killed in the early morning hours after a press release regarding the shooting was issued by the city’s press arm. Benny The Butcher was shot in the leg in Houston over the weekend but is now at home recovering after the recent scare. The American flag was lowered at the US consulate in China’s Chengdu city on Monday and Chinese authorities entered the building, as Beijing carried out a Cold War-style retaliatory closure of the mission.
