The Northern Governors Forum on Monday expressed support for proposals to regulate the social media to check the spread of fake news in the country. Following hardship faced by poultry farmers, President Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday, approved the release of 5,000 metric tonnes of maize from the National Strategic Grains Reserve, NSGR, to support the Poultry Association of Nigeria, PAN, in order to mitigate the challenge of affordability of feed. The Kaduna State government has denied media reports on the abduction of travelers along the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Thursday.
