“Tears in My Fucking Eyes”: Trent Reznor Praises Tribute to “Really Sweet Guy” Taylor Hawkins
Trent Reznor didn’t attend Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert, but like the rest of us, he was moved by the event from afar. The artist discussed watching the concert at a recent Nine Inch Nails show, praising the tribute as “very touching and sincere.” Nine Inch Nails performed at the Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 3rd, the same day the Taylor Hawkins tribute occupied London’s Wembley Stadium. 2022 Welcome to Rockville Festival Taps Nine Inch Nails to Replace Foo Fighters as Sunday Headliner
Following the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters canceled all of their scheduled 2022 tour dates. One of those dates was a headlining gig at the upcoming Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. Today (April 6th), organizers announced that Nine Inch Nails will replace Foo Fighters on the Sunday (May 22nd) lineup of the four-day fest. It’s the second such announcement of the day, as Boston Calling revealed this morning that NIN would be filling in for Foo Fighters on the first night (May 27th) of its three-day lineup. Converge Announce 2022 US Tour with Full of Hell, Uniform, and Thou
Converge have announced a March 2022 US tour, and they’re bringing along heavy-hitting support acts Full of Hell, Uniform, and Thou. As previously reported, Converge were forced to drop off their tour with Meshuggah after the dates were rescheduled. Instead, Converge will headline a stacked bill of underground talent for 10 concerts throughout March.
