Connecticut jam band Goose have added a new leg of fall tour dates as part of their ongoing tour. In the lead up to their two-weekend appearance at Austin City Limits, Goose will play headlining shows in Richmond, Atlanta, St. Louis, and New Orleans. They’ll also make stops in Fayettesville, Oklahoma City, and Dallas during the month of October. A pre-sale ticket request period is now ongoing through Wednesday, July 20th 5:00 p.m. local time, with a general on-sale set to take place on Friday, July 22nd at 10:00 a.m. local time. Phish frontman Trey Anastasio has announced his first solo acoustic album, Mercy, arriving this Friday, March 11th. Beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on December 31st, Phish will play three full sets without an audience from the Ninth Cube. Due to the surge of the omicron variant in New York City, Phish have postponed their New Year’s run at Madison Square Garden. The jam band legends had been scheduled to play a four-night residency at the Garden from December 29th to January 1st. One person died and two others were injured in separate falls during a Phish concert in San Francisco on Sunday. According to KPIX 5, a man fell from the upper-level section of the Chase Center during Phish’s first of two sets. “Medics arrived and immediately provided medical treatment, but despite the efforts of the emergency responders the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased,” a San Francisco police spokesperson said. About an hour later, a second man fell from the 200s section and onto another man below. Both men were taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
