New Electronic Music Festival to Debut In D.C. With Martin Garrix, GRiZ, Seven Lions, More

A brand new music festival 20 years in the making is set to debut in the nation’s capital this spring. Insomniac Events and Club Glow have announced Project GLOW, a first-of-its-kind electronic music festival at the RFK Festival Grounds in Washington, D.C. Scheduled for April 30th and May 1st, the two-day, two-stage fest will feature performances from some of the biggest names in EDM, such as Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Diplo, GRiZ, Krewella and SLANDER, among others. Tickets will go on sale Friday, January 14th at 10AM ET and you can purchase them here. Fresh off a year of utter dominance, John Summit can add “Best-Selling Artist” to his rapidly growing list of accomplishments.  Summit’s affinity for writing intoxicating house music has landed him in the number one spot on Beatport‘s list of top-selling artists in 2021 alongside a handful of well-regarded names. Following the Chicago native on Beatport’s list are David Penn, ARTBAT, Biscits, Charlotte de Witte, CamelPhat, Space 92, Ben Böhmer, Cloonee, and Break, respectively. After a monster phase two lineup announcement for Ultra Music Festival 2022, the landmark EDM event has now announced that its roster will also include the return of its underground brand, RESISTANCE Island.  Originally debuted in 2019, the techno and house showcase will be headlined by the likes of Adam Beyer, CamelPhat, John Summit and Nina Kraviz. Vintage Culture, David Guetta, Kryder Top 1001Tracklists’ “Top 101 Producers” List for 2021

Brazilian DJ and dance music producer Vintage Culture has taken the #1 spot in 1001Tracklists’ “Top 101 Producers” list for 2021. David Guetta, Kryder, Armin van Buuren, and John Summit follow. This year’s list contains artists from 27 different countries. The United Kingdom and Netherlands total nearly 40% of the artists represented. 33 artists made their first appearance and eight have re-entered. AVIRA, Armand van Helden, KC Lights, and MARTEN HØRGER were the producers that saw the biggest rise within the list. 1001Tracklists Guetta championed this list back in 2019 for his pioneering future rave sound.
