Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak has paved the way for legal cannabis consumption lounges with the passage of AB341. While the state legalized cannabis in 2017, there has previously not been a legal venue for recreational users to consume it publicly. With the new legislation signed, two new licensing classes have been created: one for “retail cannabis consumption lounges” and a second for “independent cannabis consumption lounges.” The creation of new entertainment experiences around cannabis should only fortify Vegas’ reputation as one of the world’s foremost entertainment capitals. The city’s largest dispensary, Planet 13—a gigantic 23,000 square foot super-center with several onsite restaurants—had publicly stated that they are ready to break ground on th...

There’s no better excuse for a cozy couch kickback than the fast approaching 4/20, a day unofficially dedicated to all things cannabis. Luckily, TOKiMONSTA, A$AP Rocky, Jhene Aiko and more have got you covered with the Even Higher Together Virtual 420 Celebration, hosted by Snoop Dogg. Featuring an array of curated content certain to fight through the fog, the event is made possible by Weedmaps, a platform that connects cannabis consumers with retailers for an Uber Eats-like experience. Two years ago, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg launched their mid-century modern cannabis line, Houseplant, in their native Canada. Now, the brand is officially crossing the border, as it will soon be available in the United States. Well, at least one part of the US. California residents will soon be able to purchase the company’s three strains of marijuana flower — indica, sativa, and hybrid — via the to-be-launched Houseplant website. Each varietal is named after weather patterns, like the 33% THC (that’s a lot!) sativa strain Pancake Ice. No word yet on when or if the brand’s pre-rolled joints, soft-gel capsules, and two flavors of carbonated beverage (grapefruit and lemon) will follow suit. While the actual weed will only be available in Cali to start, Houseplant’s new home good...
Source: FOX / Getty What’s going on between Wiz Khalifa and Rubi Rose? Well, that’s what fans are asking after photos posted on social media showed the two standing a little too close during a video shoot for their “POV” single. The pair have been hinting towards a collaboration since mid-August when Rubi Rose posted an Instagram photo of them hanging out beside a gigantic bag of weed. However, things started to heat up once both artists posted photos from the song’s video shoot. According to HipHopDX, fans noticed a post uploaded on Wiz’s Instagram account had the artists in suggestive poses that grew steamier by the swipe. The first photo had Rubi Rose and her bare derriere hugged up very closely against the Pittsburg rapper. The second showed Wiz enj...
It’s one of the most enduring legends in music history — and it turns out it’s all true. In his 1988 autobiography, Willie Nelson wrote that he once smoked a joint on the roof of the White House with one of President Jimmy Carter’s sons. Now, the former president himself has confirmed the country icon’s story. Carter shares the anecdote in the newly released documentary Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President. Directed and produced by Mary Wharton, the film examines how Carter embraced music alongside his politics. (Gosh, remember when that was something fun and not cause for legal action?). It highlights his friendships with the likes of Bob Dylan and Nelson, and when asked about the latter, Carter admits Nelson’s tale is true. “[Nelson] says that his companion was one of the servant...
