Thoughtcrimes, the hardcore outfit featuring ex-Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Bill Rymer, have announced their debut album, Altered Pasts. The band also shared the video for the new single “Keyhole Romance” ahead of the LP’s August 26th release date. Trivium Announce 2022 North American Tour with BTBAM, Whitechapel, and Khemmis
Trivium have announced the Fall 2022 “Dead Men and Dragons” North American tour in support of their 2021 album In the Court of the Dragon. The stacked tour package also includes Between the Buried and Me, Whitechapel, and Khemmis. The outing follows Trivium’s September run supporting Iron Maiden and kicks off October 2nd in Boise, Idaho. Dates run through November 10th in Los Angeles. Ticket pre-sales are currently ongoing via Ticketmaster using the code DRAGON2022, with a general on-sale beginning Friday (July 22nd) at 10 a.m. local time. Another Longtime Member Leaves As I Lay Dying
As I Lay Dying have said goodbye to another longtime member following their 2018 re-formation after frontman Tim Lambesis’ prison stint. Bassist and clean vocalist Josh Gilbert has left the veteran metalcore band, following the footsteps of guitarist Nick Hipa, who exited in 2020. Lambesis was infamously arrested in 2013 on suspicion of attempting to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife. He was convicted and sentenced to six years in prison in 2014, but was released after only two and a half years behind bars. He ultimately decided to revitalize As I Lay Dying, and was joined by longtime members Hipa, Gilbert, Phil Sgrosso and Jordan Mancino. Converge and Chelsea Wolfe have announced their first US live dates supporting the collaborative Bloodmoon: I album. The pair of shows are set for Boston and New York City on April 9th and 10th, respectively. Caspian and an as-yet-unannounced act will support the Boston date at Roadrunner, while Caspian and Liturgy will open the NYC show at Brooklyn Steel.
