Justice Share “Anniversary Edition” of Influential Debut Album, “†”
Justice are revisiting †, their debut album and one of the most influential in electronic music history. The iconic French duo have released a special “Anniversary Edition” of 2007’s seminal album, which features 12 of its original tracks along with six bonus songs. These include demos of “TThhEe PPaARRtTYY” and “Valentine,” as well as an unreleased single called “Donna” and a collaborative hip-hop remix of “D.A.N.C.E.” alongside chart-topping rapper Logic. In other news, Justice’s Gaspard Augé said in summer 2021 that the duo were “in the process” of producing a new album, which would be their first since 2016’s Woman. Skateboarding Fleetwood Mac TikTok Star Arrested for Marijuana Possession
Nathan Apodaca, the TikTok user aka 420doggface208 who went viral in 2020 for his skateboarding clip set to Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” was arrested by Idaho State Police after being found in possession of marijuana. TMZ reports that Apodaca was stopped by police because of an expired registration tag. After observing edibles in his vehicle, officers conducted a search and found three packages of THC gummies and a scraping tool with a sticky residue. Apodaca was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors: possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released on $600 bond, according to arrest records. Tidal’s New Tool Lets Users DJ for Paid Subscribers
Tidal has an inventive new way of allowing subscribers to interact with their fellow listeners. The music streaming service has launched a beta program that allows those subscribed to its HiFi Plus to launch a DJ session, where other subscribers can tune in. Aptly called DJ, the program is pretty straightforward. Users can name their DJ session and then share a link to friends and followers. Others can then access the session to listen to music in real time, similar to a radio broadcast. Tidal is known for its high-bitrate quality sound, but unfortunately, DJ only allows for songs to be played in regular AAC quality. Ash Ketchum recently fulfilled his long-coveted goal of becoming a World Champion, but the Pokémon anime will be moving on without him with a new series premiering in 2023. The show will star the dual protagonists Liko and Roy as they explore the Paldea region with new starters from the recently released Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
