To celebrate what would have been iconic MÖTÖRHEAD leader Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister‘s 76th birthday, the official MÖTÖRHEAD YouTube channel has released the next in the “The Löst Tapes” series, a previously unreleased concert from Norwich UEA which was recorded on the “Snake Bite Love” tour in 1998. Check it out below or at this location. Lemmy died in December 2015 at the age of 70 shortly after learning he had been diagnosed with cancer. He had dealt with several health issues over the last few years of his life, including heart trouble, forcing him to cut back on his famous smoking habits. Earlier this month, Yngwie postponed several concerts on his U.S. tour “due to unforeseen circumstances” and “doctor’s orders.” Malmsteen‘s latest album, “Parabellum”, was released in July via Music Theories Recordings/Mascot Label Group. Suga of BTS Tests Positive for COVID-19

Suga of BTS has tested positive for COVID-19. According to a statement from the group’s management company, Big Hit Music, the 28-year-old musician had tested negative prior to leaving the US for South Korea following the group’s recent run of concerts at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. However, while self-quarantining upon his return to South Korea, Suga received a positive result after taking a PCR test. Big Hit Music said Suga received his second COVID-19 vaccination in August, and is currently experiencing no symptoms. The company also stressed that he has had no contact with the other members of BTS — RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Kay Flock Arrested for Murder

Bronx rapper Kay Flock was arrested on murder charges on Thursday, December 23rd. The 18-year-old musician (born Kevin Perez) is accused of killing Oscar Hernandez, 24, outside of a Harlem barbershop on December 16th. According to the New York Daily News, Hernandez was sitting in a barber shop waiting to get a haircut when Perez walked by, opened the shop’s door, and asked Hernandez what he was looking at. Hernandez walked outside to confront Perez, at which point Perez pulled a gun and shot Hernandez in the neck and back. The Strokes Cancel New Year’s Eve 2021 Concert Due to Omicron

The Strokes have canceled their 2021 New Year’s Eve concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. “We were so excited to be performing for everyone in Brooklyn this New Year’s Eve, but the Omicron variant has thwarted our plans,” the band explained on social media. “All tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date and details regarding refunds will be offered when the new date is announced.” The Barclays show would have been the Strokes’ first New Year’s Eve concert in two years. Scheduled to open the event were Idles and Hinds. Last year, the Strokes released The New Abnormal, their sixth studio album and first in seven years, which earned them the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. PAPA ROACH‘s “Scars” has been certified silver in the United Kingdom. To earn a silver certification for a single in the U.K., PAPA ROACH had to sell 200,000 units of the song. The platinum, gold and silver certifications awarded by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in recognition of sales milestones have included audio streaming data since June 2015, with 1,000 streams counting as one “sale.” “Scars” is taken from PAPA ROACH‘s album “Getting Away With Murder”, which was certified silver back in July 2013, approximately nine years after the LP’s release.
