Primavera Sound has announced its 2023 lineups for festivals that will take place across two weekends, the first in Barcelona (May 31-June 3) and the second in Madrid (June 7-10). Blur, Kendrick Lamar, Depeche Mode, Rosalía, Halsey, and Calvin Harris are the main headliners across both festivals, and Pet Shop Boys will headline a reduced lineup on the opening nights.  Downbill highlights at both weekends include FKA Twigs, Sparks, Laurie Anderson, Japanese Breakfast, Sudan Archives, Four Tet, Le Tigre, Caroline Polachek, NxWorries, Turnstile, Kelela, Alex G, Alvvays, Pusha T, Death Grips, Baby Keem, Christine & the Queens, John Cale, St. Vincent, and Drain Gang. The Moldy Peaches are reuniting. In 2023, the beloved anti-folk group will perform its first European shows in 20 years. Only three concerts are scheduled so far: a show at London’s Roundhouse on May 29 and festival sets at Primavera Sound on June 2 and June 9 in Barcelona and Madrid, respectively.  “We’re excited to be back, older and moldier,” the band said in a statement. “Let’s see if we still got it! Once a Moldy Peach, always a Moldy Peach.” This news comes on the heels of the Moldy Peaches’ appearance in Meet Me in the Bathroom, the documentary film chronicling the history of the New York music scene of the early 2000s. The movie is based on Lizzy Goodman’s 2017 book of the same name and features unearthed footage of the Moldy Peaches as well as the Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Ye...
