Eric Prydz Teases 2023 HOLO Tour

Eric Prydz has slyly teased that a massive 2023 tour is likely on the horizon.  Back in September, Prydz’ world-famous HOLO show series was announced as part of Ultra Music Festival’s 2023 lineup. Even on a stacked lineup with Carl Cox, Hardwell and other electronic music greats, it was an immediate standout on the bill.  While it was the subject of much interest at the time, it seems the Ultra announcement was just the tip of the iceberg for something even bigger: a 2023 HOLO tour. Prydz stopped short of divulging all the details, but he gave enough of a teaser on Twitter to spark some excitement. For those unfamiliar with Prydz’s HOLO, it is widely regarded as one of the most—if not the most—visually stunning and forward-thinking touring shows. The jaw-droppin...

Danny Elfman Unveils Soundtrack for Noah Baumbach’s White Noise: Stream

Danny Elfman has shared his soundtrack for White Noise, Noah Baumbach’s upcoming disaster film adapted from Dom DeLillo’s eponymous novel. Starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig as a husband and wife in a crisis, White Noise is billed as equal parts hilarious absurdism and apocalyptic terror, all filtered through Baumbach’s eccentric lens. Leave it to Elfman — whose repertoire is just as wide-ranging — to set the scene with an eerily whimsical score. “Composing for White Noise was really exciting because there’s no singular genre for this film, which meant no predetermined musical direction, no indication of what the music should be. The possibilities were endless,” Elfman said in a press release. “Nothing is more fun to me than being able to try different things and experime...

Brockhampton Releasing Another New Album, TM, Tonight

The year is 2009. I’m at my mom’s crib in Corpus on her big ass desktop computer. Gas station food. Hot ass afternoons. Washing cars for money. As most of us did, I shut down once I hit middle school. I was afraid to be vulnerable with my mom. I remember not feeling good enough for my dad. I remember pretending to be somebody new depending on who I was around. I used to wanna be an actor. My 14-year-old self was in pain. I was lost. Trapped. Broke. And so I dreamt. For reasons similar, but unique, everyone in this group dreamt too. That post on the forum was an olive branch. Everyone took a risk. We found each other and planted our own trees. I had a vision when I posted, but the way it would end up not only changing my life but having an impact on the culture we grew up on? Thank you. I t...

Taylor Swift Issues Statement on Ticket On-Sale Shitshow: “It Really Pisses Me Off”

After Swifties battled — and ultimately lost — a vicious war with Ticketmaster earlier this week on their quest for access to “The Eras Tour,”  Taylor Swift has issued a statement on the resulting chaos that led to the cancelation of general ticket on-sale. “It goes without saying that I’m extremely protective of my fans. We’ve been doing this for decades together and over the years, I’ve brought so many elements of my career in house. I’ve done this SPECIFICALLY to improve the quality of my fans’ experience by doing it myself with my team who care as much about my fans as I do,” Swift wrote in a post on her Instagram story November 18th. “It’s really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for me to just watch mistakes...
