Therefore all Arkansas state controlled communications will rely on the words “Latino,” “Latina” or “Hispanic.” The official Arkansas website details her reasoning as to which “Ethnically insensitive and pejorative language has no place in official government documents or government employee titles”. The order also reads “The government has a responsibility to respect its citizens a...

Last year, one of every 25 vinyl LPs sold in the United States was a Taylor Swift album, Billboard reports, citing Luminate’s year-end music roundup. Driven by the bonanza release of Midnights, which encouraged fans to buy multiple copies with different sleeves, Swift’s 1.7 million LP sales made her the runaway top-seller in the vinyl market. Based on total album-equivalent consumption, however, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti was 2022’s biggest album in the United States. It pulled ahead with massive streaming numbers: 4.3 billion audio streams to Midnights’ 1.8 billion. Swift’s release strategy, which also incorporated several colored vinyl options, renewed debate around major label artists’ capitalization on the vinyl revival, which critics say clogs pressing plants and delays smaller rele...

Paramore have shared the third single from their new album, This Is Why. The new song, “C’est Comme Ça,” follows the title track and “The News.” Find the lyric video for the track below. The new song’s title translates to “It’s Like That.” In a statement, Paramore singer Hayley Williams explained, “I’m trying to get un-addicted to a survival narrative. And somehow that is harder for me to adjust to.” This Is Why is out February 10. It’s Paramore’s first album since 2017’s After Laughter. Soon, Paramore will go on tour in support of their new LP.

Staged at Broadway Theatre, the musical will transform the venue into a dance club environment where audiences will stand and move with the actors.
