Public Image Ltd have shared their first new song in years, and with it, they are angling to represent Ireland at the 2023 Eurovision Song Content. The uncharacteristically soul-bearing “Hawaii,” John Lydon said, “is dedicated to everyone going through tough times on the journey of life, with the person they care for the most. It’s also a message of hope that ultimately love conquers all.” Listen to the song below. This would not be Lydon’s only recent flirtation with proudly schlocky entertainment. In November 2021, he revealed himself from the Jester costume in The Masked Singer. Public Image Ltd’s last album was 2015’s What the World Needs Now…. HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Joseph Okpako / Getty It’s been a few years since Popcaan signed with Drake’s OVO label and on the cusp of the release of his latest project, Great Is He, the Jamaican artist links up with the King of The North to bring y’all some dancehall heat. In Pop’s visuals to “We Caa Done,” he and Drizzy take a boat ride around the island with Kevin Durant before mounting some jet ski’s to finish off a fun day of activities. Drake using a Jamaican accent for his verses is hella entertaining. Back in the states, Kodak Black seems to be living the lavish gangsta life and in his clip to “Kodak The Boss,” Black politics at home with a thick young lady while draped down in a Versace robe and admiring his golden assault rifle, which was gifted to him by a Mexican cartel....
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Michael Tullberg / Getty For decades The Joker’s been one of the most eccentric, violent and interesting characters in Batman’s illustrious gallery of villains, but his latest storyline seems to be rubbing people the wrong way as the Clown Prince of Crime is set to become a daddy by turning into a mommy. TMZ is reporting that in a new story for The Man Who Stopped Laughing, The Joker finds himself with child after a spell cast on him goes awry. The series follows the Joker through various subplots that sometimes aren’t even cannon in the DC universe. The latest tale might’ve pushed the envelope as many anti-LGTBQ comic book fans were outraged at the notion that the man could bare a child. It dropped a few days ago, and people immediately noticed that writ...

Two people have been arrested after breaking into the home of Kleøpatra, a budding electronic music artist. At around 5:10am on December 31st, Kleøpatra was asleep at home when the suspects violently “kicked the front door in,” according to the DJ, who has released music on a number of popular electronic labels such as Excision’s Subsidia Records. Authorities identified the suspects as Chase Nielson, 36, and Stacy Nielson, 37, proprietors of a local rave merchandise brand, Utah Rave Fam, LLC. “My roommate started yelling at them to get out once she realized they were in my house,” Kleøpatra tells EDM.com. “By the time I had gotten out of bed and downstairs, they were already out of the house and I then immediately called the police.” Scroll to...
Aladdin Sane, the landmark 1973 album from David Bowie, is getting the reissue treatment for its 50th anniversary. On April 14th, the record will be re-released on a half-speed mastered LP, as well as a picture disc LP pressed from the same master. With hit singles such as “The Jean Genie” and “Drive-In Saturday,” Aladdin Sane — released less than a year after Bowie’s momentous breakthrough album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars — marked the Brit’s debut on the US charts. As one of the final examples of his Ziggy Stardust persona before he was “laid to rest” in July 1973, Aladdin Sane also boasts perhaps the most iconic cover art in Bowie’s mammoth discography, and arguably one of the most recognizable album covers of all time. Pre-orders fo...
Marjorie Taylor Greene decided it was Fuck with Dre day and now everyone else is celebrating, as she tells TMZ she was locked out of her Twitter account for posting a video soundtracked by Dr. Dre’s music without permission. On Monday, January 9th, the part-time Congresswoman and full-time troll uploaded a long and repetitive video of her walking various places as the first chords of “Still D.R.E” played on a loop. “It’s time to begin,” she wrote, “and they can’t stop what’s coming.” But as it turns out, they can. Dr. Dre’s attorney Howard King sent MTJ a cease and desist letter, writing, “Mr. Young [Dre] has not, and will never, grant you permission to broadcast or disseminate any of his music,” and adding, “We’re writing because we think an actual lawmaker should be making...
