Details For Gangsta Boo’s Celebration of Life and Funeral Announced

The dates and locations of Gangsta Boo‘s memorial service and funeral have been announced by Drumma Boy. The producer took to social media to unveil the news, revealing a January 13 date for the late rapper’s Celebration of Life in her home of Memphis, Tennessee and a January 14 date for her funeral which will take place in Southaven, Mississippi. “Been a rough 2023 so far but i know you are finally at peace…” Drumma boy wrote in the caption. “Let us come together as we celebrate our legendary queen, sister, & friend! The Weeknd opened up about “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength),” his theme song from Avatar: The Way of Water, being shortlisted for the 2022 Oscars race in a new interview on Monday (Jan. 9). “I feel honored to be part of that list. Any kind of recognition for it feels like a blessing,” the R&B crooner told The Hollywood Reporter. Gordy Harmon, The Whispers Founding Member, Dies at 79

Gordy Harmon, a founding member of the beloved R&B group The Whispers, died on Thursday (Jan. 5). He was 79 years old. The news of his death was initially reported by ABC7, who noted that the soul musician died peacefully in his sleep, and that his family believes he died of natural causes and had no serious illnesses. Belle and Sebastian have announced a new album: Late Developers is out this Friday, January 13, via Matador. The album was recorded during the sessions for 2022’s A Bit of Previous, and finds Stuart Murdoch and his bandmates pairing their guitar-oriented songwriting with touches of harpsichord and other instrumentation. Check out the tracklist for the upcoming album below. Ahead of the full release, the band has shared a song called “I Don’t Know What You See in Me,” which arrives with its own music video. Touring and Mental Health: The Music Industry Manual, an in-depth guide edited by London-based psychotherapist and former booker Tamsin Embleton, has gotten an official release date. The 600-plus-page book collects insights from therapists, artists, performance coaches, psychologists, and other specialized health and wellness experts. It arrives on March 23 via Omnibus Press. In addition to her work as a therapist and writer, Embleton co-founded the Music Industry Therapist Collective. She was inspired to start pursuing psychotherapy from her own experience working in the music industry.
