ASOT1000 Celebrations in the Netherlands Postponed to 2022
On September 3rd and 4th, A State Of Trance was scheduled to celebrate its landmark ASOT1000 event in the Netherlands, but due to ongoing pandemic restrictions around large events, it has been postponed until February 2022. After Prime Minister Mark Rutte pushed the restriction of large scale events until at least September 20th, ASOT1000 promoter ALDA had no choice but to pull the plug. In the Dutch government’s recent moves to block festivals such as Tomorrowland from taking place, they have cited both size and scope as a concern. Couple Turns Wedding Into Two-Day Camping Music Festival
Planning a wedding is ambitious enough. Now imagine a wedding crossed with a camping music festival. That is precisely what Jamon Deaver and Joey Lawton were able to pull off in Berea, Kentucky. The couple held their event, titled Wonder Woods, on a 40-acre plot owned by Deaver’s family. At first, they expected the idea would be a hard sell. AEG Presents announced today that it will be requiring proof of vaccination for entry into its owned and operated clubs, theaters, and festivals. In response to the nationwide surge in coronavirus cases due to the Delta variant, the global leader in concerts and live events announced the vaccination mandate will be in effect no later than October 1st, 2021. The new policy will be implemented at the company’s venues, including Webster Hall and Brooklyn Steel in New York, The Roxy and El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, and The Theatre at Resorts World in Las Vegas. After two years, HARD Summer brought over 160,000 ravers back together for a weekend full of electronic music and long-awaited fun.
