Natalie Gotman Drops Sultry, Anthemic Debut Album “Got Love”

Singer and songwriter Natalie Gotman has unveiled Got Love, her anthemic debut album, which has already hit the charts.  Based in Germany, Natalie has released an 11-track record that doubles as a revolving door of vocal-driven dance anthems. Got Love was created in collaboration with a number of renowned producers signed to iconic electronic music labels such as Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music. She kicks things off with “Meant to Be,” a melancholic yet bouncy four-on-the-floor house tune, before following with the future house-inspired “Better Way” and the twinkly “Rainy Night.” The latter track is a surefire standout with its mesmeric soundscapes and spellbinding vocal performance. Then comes another of the album’s standout ...

Max M Drops Feel-Good Single “If This Is What It Feels Like”

Rising French producer Max M is fresh off the release of his debut EP Renaissance. The five-track collection featured a number of his previous releases as well as his most recent single, “If This Is What It Feels Like” featuring vocals by Chris Willis and Della Ciprian. This was the final brushstroke on his dance-pop magnum opus. “If This Is What It Feels Like” features similar formulaic sound design as Max M’s previous feel-good releases. He has a penchant for light and effervescent soundscapes, packed with bubbly synths and warm guitar riffs. Max M expertly balances the vox with infectious pop elements and dance...

Porter Robinson is often lauded as one of the most influential electronic music producers of his generation. Nero Keep the New Music Coming With Electrifying Edit of Genesis’ “Mama”

Last month, legendary trio Nero kicked off a string of edit releases with a massive rework of Daft Punk’s “Emotion.” The electronic outfit didn’t slow down after that, releasing edits at random intervals throughout the month thereafter, including a take on Tame Impala’s “Disciples” and classic 80s track “Relax” by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Now, the next Nero bootleg is here, and it’s glorious. Travelling back even further in time for an edit of the Phil Collins-era Genesis, Nero’s version of “Mama” refreshes a nearly 40- year old song with a clean 2021 sheen. In classic Nero fashion, a dark and synth-driven production provides a nearly cyberpunk atmosphere that fits the trio’s aesthetic perfectly.&nbs...

Steve Aoki and Farruko Drop Collaborative Single “Aire” Just Ahead of 4/20

Steve Aoki has teamed up with Puerto Rican superstar Farruko for a new reggaeton single called “Aire.” Out on Ultra Music, the uplifting tune provides a pleasant poolside ambience. Released just ahead of the celebrated cannabis holiday 4/20, the lyrics praise the plant, stating “the atmosphere is good and it smells like marijuana” in Spanish. Using dembow rhythms, steel drums, and the dancehall vocals of Farruko, this song is ideal for summer. A blend of Spanish and English, the lyrics discuss a party that “doesn’t end until tomorrow,” and has hemp aplenty. In July 2020, Aoki launched his Dim Mak En Fuego imprint as an evolution of his Dim Mak label founded in 1996. This new banner gives a spotlight to Latin culture and experiences, and challenges the old ways of traditional Latin mus...
