MUST DIE!, Skream and Akeos Release Highly Anticipated Mega-Collaboration, “LOL OK”

Last month was a doozy for dubstep fans, as MUST DIE!, Skream, and Akeos set Twitter on fire by teasing their upcoming mega-collaboration. Just over a month later, they’ve released their hotly anticipated single “LOL OK” on Never Say Die.  “LOL OK” is exactly what we’ve been dreaming of, combining each artist’s expertise into a four-minute weapon. The melodic intro is disrupted by a distorted vocal sample, which quickly transforms into a barrage of clanging synths. With his starring role in a new music video, renowned actor Danny Trejo has at last added EDM to his stacked portfolio of artistic work. Released today via Handwritten Records, the short film is set to the tune of “Netflix (Your Product Is Too Good)” by electronic duo OYLS, off their October album OYLS (For Your Consideration). Armin Van Buuren Drops Blissful Electronic Pop Ballad “Weight of the World”

Iconic Dutch DJ and producer Armin Van Buuren has collaborated with rising singer-wongwriter RBVLN for their single “Weight of the World.” Released on his own Armada Music banner, this blissful electronic pop ballad evokes pure bliss. The production is excellent, using lively synth melodies that soar over the breezy house beat. Boombox Cartel Teases New “Cartel II” EP

Following 2020 single releases “Máquina” and “All Again” with KRANE, 2021 has been relatively silent for Boombox Cartel. That changed yesterday after the internationally recognized Mexican-American producer teased new music in a serendipitous tweet. The bass music star’s original five-track Cartel EP was released in 2017 and now, four years later, Boombox Cartel has announced that Cartel II is finally on the way.
