Subtronics Taps Zeds Dead and Flowdan for Supercharged Collaboration, “Gassed Up”

Zeds Dead and Subtronics recruited a very special guest for their third collaboration. For “Gassed Up,” the second single off of Subtronics’ upcoming album Fractals, the trio of bass music producers joined forces with grime heavyweight Flowdan. Combining his lyrical abilities with the trio’s gargantuan bass, each vocal interlude sets up a supercharged bass drop laced with motorized, choppy wobbles. Check out the new single below. Tchami and AC Slater’s Labels to Kick Off Joint Tour With Collaborative Album Release

Househeads, rejoice.  Not only are flag-bearers Tchami and AC Slater about to hit the road together, but they’re also bringing together top talent from their record labels, Confession and Night Bass, for a massive collaborative album.  Due January 14th, the Confession x Night Bass release is perfectly timed with the Denver kickoff date of an eponymous tour. According to social media teasers, the album will include music by BIJOU, Habstrakt, Nostalgix, Blossom, Capozzi and MASTERIA, among others. Swedish House Mafia Announce Recomposition of Breakout Hit, “One”

Nearly 12 years after its release, Swedish House Mafia is giving their breakout hit “One” a makeover in the new year with the help of Swedish composer Jacob Mühlrad.  Aptly titled “One Symphony,” the recomposition will serve as a symphonic version of their generational dance anthem. In an announcement shared via Instagram today, Swedish House Mafia noted that this is a natural progression for the song, as they originally wrote it orchestrally with each unique moment playing an integral part in the arrangement. Rockstar Games and NTS Radio have created a way to revisit the sounds that permanently shaped many of our music tastes. In celebration of the developer’s recently released Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, the world-renowned music hub hosted one mix from each of the three games.
