A little-known collaboration between Mac DeMarco and Snail Mail, the solo project of indie singer-songwriter Lindsey Jordan, has premiered online. The single, entitled “A Cuckhold’s Refrain – Peppermint Patty,” was reportedly recorded two years ago in DeMarco’s garage, per Pitchfork, and was posted on Monday to a rarely-used YouTube channel. Alongside the two lead singers, the song features musical duo DOMi & JD Beck and Kansas-born pop artist Deaton Chris Anthony. True to its name, “A Cuckhold’s Refrain” tells the story of a man forced to sleep in the shed after his wife takes on another lover. Future has sold his catalog from the years 2004 to 2020 to Influence Media Partners.
