The artist formerly known as Kanye West is supposedly shopping shares in catalog for 35 times its gross profit, amounting to an estimated $175 million USD. According to reports, Ye’s team has been sitting down with several possible buyers over the past year in an attempt to put a correct value on his catalog. He is allegedly looking to sell the shares for 35 times its estimated gross profit; Billboard’s approximations state that the artist’s catalog rakes in around $13.25 million USD in publishing royalties per year, however West himself receives a different amount as his later releases include 10-24 songwriters per song plus the artists sampled. Crowded House Reschedule North American Tour to 2023

Crowded House recently announced they would have to postpone their first North American tour in 12 years due to their drummer’s lower back injury, and now the band has revealed the trek is being pushed to 2023. The rescheduled “Dreamers Are Waiting” leg now kicks off May 2nd in Vancouver. It includes shows in New York City, Chicago, Toronto, Nashville, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping in Boston on May 30th. See the full itinerary below. Metallica Announce 2022 “Helping Hands” Benefit Concert in Los Angeles

Metallica have announced their third-ever “Helping Hands” benefit concert and auction. Featuring performances by Metallica and “special guests,” the show and auction are set for December 16th at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The third iteration of the “Helping Hands Concert and Auction” follows a remote livestream benefit show back in November 2020. Travis Scott Previews Unreleased ‘Utopia’ Collaborations With Kid Cudi, Future, Pharrell and Lil Uzi

On Saturday night, Travis Scott headed to Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas for the first performance of his Road to Utopia residency. The seven-night residency, which is only one part of a “multi-year partnership” between Scott and Zouk, will see the rapper perform six shows non-consecutively between September 17 and October 15. Taking its name from Scott’s long-awaited fourth studio album, Utopia, the residency kicked off with a slew of songs from the unreleased project. Fans at the concert were able to hear snippets of new material featuring Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi and Pharrell.
