DJ Khaled Breaks Down “Juice WRLD DID” Collaboration: “I Felt Like [He] Was in My Studio”

Earlier this week, DJ Khaled hosted a Twitter Spaces with JAY-Z and several music executives, during which he divulged exactly how his “Juice WRLD DID” collaboration came to fruition. During their conversation, Khaled explained that Chicago’s Lil Bibby, who signed Juice WRLD to his label Grade A Production, sent him an MP3 file that included a track that the late rapper had created specifically for Khaled. “I get a text from Bibby [that] said, ‘I heard you’re working on your album, GOD DID.’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ And he sent an MP3 immediately,” Khaled said. “I ain’t get a chance to reply yet. Lil Baby Announces Third Studio Album ‘It’s Only Me’

Lil Baby on Friday announced his third studio album, It’s Only Me, on Instagram, revealing the record’s official cover art and October 14 release date. “‘It’s Only Me’ 10-14-22,” Baby wrote on the social media platform under the official artwork. “I Kno Its Been Along Time Coming But I’m Coming Harder And Harder.” Evidently inspired by Mount Rushmore, the album cover features an illustration of Lil Baby’s various life stages carved into a mountain located above a waterfall and serene lake. Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert (Live Blog)

On Saturday, September 2nd, Foo Fighters will pay tribute to their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins, with an all-star tribute concert at London’s Wembley Stadium. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert will begin at 4:30 p.m. BST / 11:30 a.m. EST / 8:30 a.m. PST. For those who cannot be in attendance, there will be live television coverage of the concert in the US on Paramount+ and internationally on Pluto TV. David Lee Roth has shared a new previously unheard live studio version of Van Halen’s “Panama” recorded live in the studio. Little else is known about the track, which was uploaded to DLR’s YouTube channel last night (September 1st) with artwork declaring: “Roth Lives!” This new take stays pretty close to the original Van Halen version, with some new vocal ad libs from Roth and a distinctly Eddie Van Halen-esque guitar tone. I Got Issues is slated to drop at the very end of this month through Def Jam. The rapper announced the news of the forthcoming album on Instagram on Thursday. The simple LP cover showcases the rapper wearing a black turtleneck and a thick layer of chains. Contrasting with a stark black background, YG holds a solo cup and a red glow encircles his head. A$AP Rocky on Friday surprise-dropped a new untitled track and music video with Playboi Carti. The title of the single is not available, though Rocky did share the cut on Instagram with a caption reading “OUR DE$TINY.” At this time, it is unknown whether the track will imminently receive a DSP rollout.
