The Chainsmokers will become the first musicians to perform at the edge of space. The DJ duo of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall have signed up to be launched into the stratosphere in a pressurized capsule. Ryan Hartman, CEO of space tourism company World View, shared the news first with the Associated Press. According to the article, The Chainsmokers are slated to be onboard one of World View’s inaugural flights in 2024. The capsule will be tied to a stratospheric balloon and can hold up to eight passengers. That may mean that the DJs may have an audience on their trip to the sky.
