A week after hitting No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart, Carlos Vives and Camilo again pounce to the No. 1 rank on the overall Latin Airplay chart as “Baloncito Viejo” rules the June 18-dated list. The Colombians’ first collaboration lifts 2-1 in its 11th week thanks to a 13% gain in audience impressions, earned in the U.S. in the week ending June 12, according to Luminate. “Baloncito” becomes Vives’ 16th No. 1 on Latin Airplay, and first in almost three years. John Fogerty Announces 2022 Tour with Sons Shane and Tyler as Openers
John Fogerty will return to the road beginning in Summer 2022 for his “Travelin’ Band Family Tour” with his sons Shane and Tyler, whose band Hearty Har will serve as support throughout the trek. In addition to his solo discography, Fogerty will play hits from Creedence Clearwater Revival. The family affair kicks off on June 17th with a casino show in Airway Heights, Washington. From there, Fogerty will make stops in Aspen, Colorado; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Today, Steve Lacy released his new track “Mercury” with an accompanying music video. From his forthcoming album Gemini Rights, the new track marks Lacy’s first new single since 2019. Blending 60s Brazilian bossa nova and 70s funk styles, the new track was written and produced completely by the Compton-born musician. “Gemini/I’m a myth and I’m a legend/ Whom never wins/And might not ever play again/Keep falling in (Keep falling in, yeah)/Love so fast and back out again/Speeding/When I should ease it,” sings Lacy in the first verse.
