Rae Sremmurd To Return With 4th Studio Album ‘SREMM4LIFE’
Rae Sremmurd, the hip-hop duo made up of brothers Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, has announced its fourth studio album. Entitled SREMM4LIFE, the new project will follow 2018’s SR3MM, which featured guest artists such as Juicy J, Travis Scott, Future, Pharrell, Young Thug, The Weeknd and Zoë Kravitz. First formed in 2013, the duo, which hails from Tupelo, Mississippi, was originally signed to Mike Will Made It‘s EarDrummers imprint before forming their own label after the release of their sophomore LP SremmLife 2. Following their first full performance in 26 years at the recent Welcome to Rockville festival in Florida, Porno for Pyros will reconvene for another reunion gig in Chicago. The July 30th show at the Metro will be part of the Lollapalooza “Aftershows” series, taking place at local venues around the four-day festival. The Welcome to Rockville show materialized when Jane’s Addiction had to bow out due to guitarist Dave Navarro’s battle with long COVID.
