According to Madonna, the “Mother of Creation” trifecta is meant to draw a connection between the ways people create life and the ways people create art. “I wanted to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina, but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity,” the artist explained in a statement.
