Young Thug was arrested in Atlanta on two separate charges while associates of his Young Stoner Life (YSL) imprint — including Gunna — are facing a 56-count indictment. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 30-year-old Thugger, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested and booked into Fulton County Jail on charges of “conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in street gang activity.” The RICO Act charge is from an alleged offense committed in January 2013 while the gang charge stems from allegations dating back to May 2018. Rock Hall CEO Greg Harris recently discussed Eminem‘s induction into the 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, stating that the rapper’s music emits the same feeling as music from metal artists. Speaking to Audacy, Harris explained that they were “thrilled” to have Em be inducted in his first year of eligibility. “For a lot of years people asked about hip-hop. He’s the 10th artist to be sort of categorized that way. But you listen to his music, it is as hard hitting and straight ahead as any metal song,” he said. “Like, it’s right there. It really is. Travis Scott is slated to take the stage at this weekend’s Billboard Music Awards in his first televised performance since November’s Astroworld, during which a crowd surge led to the tragic deaths of ten festival attendees. Scott has been nominated for top dance/electronic song for the remix of his hit single “Goosebumps” with Spanish producer HVME. Billboard will mark both his first televised performance and his first awards show performance since the Astroworld tragedy. On the heels of her newly released album, Based On A Feeling, Sabrina Claudio has announced an accompanying world tour. Claudio’s latest album marks her first musical release since her 2020 holiday album, Christmas Blues. But now that the Miami-raised songstress is back, she’s ready to hit the big stage. The forthcoming tour consists of 38 shows across North America and Europe. Set to kick off on August 25 at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon, Claudio will more throughout the states before starting the 13-date European leg on November 12 in Stockholm. The track, which arrived on Future’s latest album, I Never Liked You, marks Tems‘ first No. 1, Future’s second and Drake‘s 10th, making Drizzy the first rapper in history to secure 10 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100.
