Today, Primus’ Les Claypool and Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hütz have honored the tenacious leader with a, er, ballsy new anthem called “Zelensky: The Man with the Iron Balls.” Aside from Claypool and Hütz, “Zelensky: The Man with the Iron Balls” boasts some other familiar names: The Police’s Stewart Copeland plays drums, Sean Lennon sings and aids on guitar, Hütz’s bandmate Sergey Ryabtseb plays the fiddle, and Billy Strings joins on the acoustic guitar. The buzzy Brits of Wet Leg have announced a 2022 North American headlining tour to keep them busy between their performance at Lollapalooza and their time opening for Florence + The Machine. Our April Artists of the Month return to the states at the end of July for a festival run that includes Lollapalooza, Mo Pop, and Osheaga. They’ll swing through Toronto, Vancouver, and Happy Valley, Oregon on their way to Outside Lands and This Ain’t No Picnic, before making stops in San Antonio, New Orleans, Atlanta, Denver, and more. Future‘s debut studio album Pluto has sold one million units in the United States and officially been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Pluto’s certification arrives almost exactly a decade after its release, and first sold 500,000 units and was certified gold in April 2017. The 15-track project features the likes of Drake, T.I., Trae tha Truth, Snoop Dogg and productions from names such as Will-A-Fool, Sonny Digital and K.E. on the Track.
