Like I said, it’s music. That’s what it’s for so everybody can just… I got a lot of people that I got to take care of so I’m here, forever. So, the music that I’m making is forever. I’ve been listening to Mayhem, The Weeknd, a lot of old Atlanta shit, ratchet shit. Do you think sometimes I need to dumb it down? Do people think I’m too ahead? Because so...
Jordana has dropped the new single “To the Ground” as the latest preview from her upcoming album, Face the Wall. The admirably uplifting tune is described in a statement by the 21-year old indie-pop singer-songwriter as “about being alone and starting from square one, not knowing how and where to start, a venture into adulthood. With the path to growing up, it’s wanting to not ask for any help on any growth to feel accomplished and self-brought-up, emotionally and physically. The only help being asked for in this song is to be stripped completely and figuratively thrown to the ground to get back up.” Though she leads into the chorus by singing, “It’s not that I need your help or anything/ But if you’d like to start me off that would be pretty cool,” Jordana keeps much of the responsibility...
Musician-comedian Tim Heidecker has announced a new album. Titled High School, the multi-hyphenate’s latest full-length is out on June 24th via Spacebomb Records, and today, we get to hear its lead single “Buddy.” Additionally, Heidecker has announced a North American tour for Summer 2022 featuring both his comedy and music. Pre-orders for the record are ongoing. Described in a press release as “a composite of a few woebegone friends,” “Buddy” i...
Gwen Stefani‘s latest transformation is nothing short of B-A-N-A-N-A-S. On Monday, the pop singer posted a photo of herself decked out in an ivory cowboy hat, bright-red bandana and flannel shirt as she gazes off into the distance. Never fear, though: She kept her signature California style in tact with her diamond jewelry, wearing a diamond cross and choker spelling out “GXVE,” the name of her cosmetics line GXVE Beauty. Stefani looks wistful in the snap, but captioned it simply using a smiling cowboy and a sparkle emoji, adding “#Oklahoma #Springbreak” before signing off with a “gx.” Explore Explore See latest videos, charts and news See latest videos, charts and news While The Voice coach didn’t specify where, exactly, in Oklahoma she’d brought her three boys for spring break, her husba...

Snoop Dogg has even bigger plans for Death Row Records, and one of them involves its East Coast rival, Bad Boy Records. In an upcoming Drink Champs episode, the new owner of Death Row shared that it’s time for the two labels — which led the bitter hip-hop rivalry between the East and West Coast in the ’90s — to reconcile on positive terms.“We can show growth and progression that we can move forward, and we can take this Bad Boy—Death Row what it used to be and make it a collaboration on peace and love,” Snoop said. “‘Cause that’s who I am. I’m Suge and Puffy.” He also took this opportunity to shut down those who are opposed to the positive collaboration, “Shut the f*ck up and stop being brainwashed. I love Puff. I love his kids now n***a, what’s happening? I own Death Row so I do what the ...
Golf Wang has dropped the official vinyl, CDs, cassette tapes, and posters for Tyler, the Creator‘s sixth studio album Call Me if You Get Lost. Initially released in June of last year, the album went on to win the BET Hip Hop Award for Best Album of the Year in 2021 and a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2022. The 12” vinyl sleeve features the album’s alternate album cover, an acrylic painting done by artist Gregory Ferrand of Tyler traveling in Europe while the CD and cassette artwork features a driver’s license shot said to pay tribute to rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s cover from 1995. The name on the ID card displays “Tyler Baudelaire,” one of artist’s new fur cap-wearing character creations that some speculate may be a reference to French poet Charles Baudelaire. Rounding out the offerin...
