Rosalía made her Saturday Night Live musical guest debut on March 12, performing a pair of all-Spanish songs from her upcoming album, MOTOMAMI. The 28-year-old Spanish songstress’ visit to Studio 8H included a sassy delivery of her new dance-ready Latin trap song “Chicken Teriyaki” and a theatrical take on “La Noche De Anoche,” her collaboration with The Weeknd. Lucky Daye Drops Flavorful New Album ‘Candydrip’ Featuring Lil Durk, Smino and More
Lucky Daye has released his latest full-length effort, Candydrip, via RCA Records and Keep Cool. The 17-track album, which was produced by D’Mile, includes guest appearances from artists including Lil Durk, Smino and Chiiild, as well as previously released tracks, “Candy Drip,” “Over” and “NWA” with Durk. Additional cuts include “Feels Like,” “Fuckin Sound,” “Fever,” “God Body,” “Used To Be,” “Cherry Forest” and more. “Candydrip focuses mostly on flavors,” Daye explained in a statement, “and the idea of flavors versus Painted, which was about colors. Traci Braxton, a singer, actor and television personality who was the sister of Toni and Tamar Braxton, has died. She was 50. Although DONDA 2 isn’t Billboard eligible, Kanye West can celebrate the DONDA going certified platinum by the RIAA. The Recording Industry Association of America recently noted that Ye’s tenth studio album received over 1 million equivalent album sales since its August 2021 release. The Platinum certification of DONDA stands as the artist’s ninth album to reach the achievement. Additionally, Kanye West’s “We Don’t Care” went Gold, “Runaway” and “Bound 2” both went 3X Platinum. NIGO Teases Return of the Teriyaki Boyz
Releasing “Hear Me Clearly” with Pusha T just a few days ago, NIGO has now returned to tease the return of the Teriyaki Boyz. Taking to Instagram, the Japanese streetwear icon shared a snippet of his next I Know NIGO single featuring the group. Accompanied by a polaroid picture visual, the track is titled “More Tonight” and produced by NIGO close friend a collaborator Pharrell Williams. An influential force in the Japanese music and streetwear scene back in the early 2000s, the Teriyaki Boyz consists of Ilmari and Ryo-Z from Rip Slyme, Verbal from M-Flo, rapper Wise and NIGO, who served as the group’s DJ. Famed Ernest Tubb Record Shop in Nashville Up For Sale
The downtown Nashville record store that was opened by Opry legend Ernest Tubb in 1947 and has been a landmark in country music for decades will close as the building is being put up for sale.
