Eddie Vedder Postpones Solo Shows Due to COVID-19 Cases in Camp

Eddie Vedder was forced to postpone two California dates on his solo tour this week after discovering positive COVID-19 cases in his touring team. Vedder made the announcement on Monday (Feb. 14), writing on Facebook that shows scheduled for Tuesday (Feb. 15) at the Magnolia in San Diego and the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday (Feb. 17) were being postponed until later this month. Jeff Tweedy Says Wilco Are Working on a New Album

New Wilco music is coming down the pipeline. In a “Chit-Chat Check-In” post on Jeff Tweedy’s newsletter last week, the vocalist said that he and his fellow Wilco members were in the studio “chipping away at a new record.” “It’s been very, very, very fun and exciting, and we’re having a great time,” Tweedy said. “If I can get everybody in the Wilco braintrust on board, maybe I’ll share a snippet of a work in progress or something like that over the weekend behind the paywall.” Head over to Tweedy’s page here to listen to the full update. Foo Fighters have unleashed their inner extreme-metal inner selves on the new song “March of the Insane.” Released under the band moniker Dream Widow, the song conjures up early thrash reminiscent of Venom, Slayer, Celtic Frost, and other likeminded acts. Popular Bollywood singer and composer Bappi Lahiri, who won millions of fans with his penchant for feet-tapping disco music in the 1980s and 1990s, has died in a Mumbai hospital, according to a hospital statement.
