Continuing on the path to world domination, the Toronto crooner has charted 24 songs, marking the most ever by any solo male artist. Dawn FM continues to be at the top of the charts across the globe, including his home country Canada, U.K. Australia, Ireland, Sweden and Switzerland. The album debuted at No. 1 on Apple Music U.S and in 125 countries and is also No. 1 on Spotify U.S. and Globally. The i am > i was artist took to social media to tease the possibility, quoting a tweet from Billboard stating that 21 is one of the artists with the most amount of entries on this year’s Billboard Hot 100 so far. “No album in a year and a half tho…it’s time,” he tweeted. The 29-year-old rapper’s last full-length release was Savage Mode II with Metro Boomin, which they released in October 2020. The 15-track record followed their collaborative 2016 album and featured guest appearances from Drake, Young Thug and Young Nudy, and went on to debut at No. 1. The Paper Route EMPIRE family is paying their respects to the late Young Dolph in the compilation album, Long Live Young Dolph. Clocking in at just under 30 minutes, the eight-track project features cuts from Key Glock, Jay Fizzle, Snupe Bandz, Big Moochie Grape, Kenny Muney and more. United States authorities have taken three men related to Young Dolph’s murder into custody: Justin Johnson, Shundale Barnett and Cornelius Smith. Young Dolph was shot and killed in home of Memphis in November 2021 while buying cookies for his mother at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. He was 36 years old. YoungBoy Never Broke Again has officially released his newest project, Colors. Clocking in at approximately an hour, the 20-track mixtape features only one guest appearance from Quando Rondo on “Gangsta” and includes the previously-released single “Fish Scale.” Colors follows YoungBoy’s collaborative record From the Bayou with Birdman, which dropped just last month, and is his first solo project since September 2021’s Sincerely, Kentrell. In early December 2021, YoungBoy stated that he wanted to quit music. “I lost love for music and it brings too many problems,” he told DJ Akademiks during a Clubhouse conversation. “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.” There is currently no official word about his retirement, however.
