Hazel O’Connor Hospitalized Following a Bleed on Brain

Hazel O’Connor, the veteran British singer and songwriter, is recovering from a brain bleed. The 66-year-old Coventry native was admitted to hospital Jan. 9 after being found in her home in south-west France having suffered a “serious medical event.” The following day, “things were touch and go” and the “next 24 hours would determine how her recovery may go,” reads an update posted on social media by her brother Neil O’Connor. Rumored New Lana Del Rey Song Teased in Latest ‘Euphoria’ Preview

A possible new song from Lana Del Rey was supposedly teased in the latest preview of Euphoria. Rumors of the songstress’ Euphoria contribution began circulating earlier this month, but neither HBO, the showrunners nor Del Rey confirmed the news. Vic Mensa was arrested at Dulles International Airport in Fairfax, VA on Saturday night after allegedly being found in possession of mushrooms, LSD, and other psychedelic drugs. The Chicago rapper had just returned from a trip to Ghana when he was pulled aside by U.S. Customs Agents for a secondary search. They discovered 41 grams of LSD, 124 grams of psilocybin capsules, 178 grams of psilocybin gummies, and six grams of psilocybin mushrooms concealed inside of Mensa’s luggage. Gunna is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1 with DS4EVER. According to Billboard, the 19-track record earned 150,300 equivalent album units in its first week, including 144,600 in streaming equivalent album units (193.5 million on-demand streams for the songs), 4,700 in album sales and 1,000 in track equivalent album units. This marks Gunna’s second chart-topping effort following Wunna and his fourth top 10 effort overall. FBI Joins Astroworld Investigation, Launches Website for Evidence Collection

The FBI has joined the Houston Police Department in investigating the circumstances that led to the deadly crowd rush at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival back in November. “Houston Police Detectives have already viewed countless hours of video evidence as part of our ongoing investigation into the Astroworld event,” HPD wrote on Twitter on Friday (January 14th). “To ensure that we have captured all evidence for a complete investigation, we have parterned with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for additional technical assistance.
