Maverick City Music‘s “Promises,” featuring Joe L. Barnes and Naomi Raine, hits No. 1 on Billboard‘s streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Christian Songs and Hot Gospel Songs charts dated Jan. 15. For the Atlanta-based Maverick City Music, “Promises” is their first leader on Hot Christian Songs and their fourth chart-topper on Hot Gospel Songs. It’s Barnes’ first No. 1 on each ranking. As for Raine, she visited the Hot Gospel Songs summit via her feature on Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music’s collaboration “Jireh” (also featuring Chandler Moore). Lil Durk Announces Spring 2022 US Tour

This spring, Lil Durk is returning to the road for a US tour in support of his upcoming album, 7220. Taking place throughout April and early May, the 2022 trek will cover 17 cities. “The 7220 Tour” kicks off on April 8th in Phoenix, making stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, and New York before wrapping up in his hometown of Chicago on May 2nd. Ronnie Spector, who as lead singer of The Ronettes achieved a string of hits in the 1960s and emerged as one of pop music’s first female stars, has died at the age of 78.
