Jay Weaver, the bass player and a vocalist for Big Daddy Weave, has died from complications of COVID-19. He was 42. David Bowie‘s estate has sold the artist’s publishing catalog to Warner Chappell Music for “upwards of $250 million USD,” according to a report from Variety. The catalog spans six decades and hosts hundreds of legendary tracks including “Changes,” “Ziggy Stardust,” “Heroes,” “Space Oddity,” “Golden Years,” “Blackstar,” “Fame,” “Let’s Dance” and many more. The contract includes recordings from Bowie’s 26 studio albums, along with the posthumous studio record, Toy, which releases on Friday.
