Nipsey Hussle’s Final Album To Be Released as an NFT
Blue Laces 3, the final album of the late Nipsey Hussle, will be released as an NFT on the decentralized digital rights management platform, RAIRTECH. Marked as the platform’s first ever NFT drop, the limited collection of NFTs will unlock exclusive streaming rights to the album which is set to drop January. Shortly after announcing the official release date for Dawn FM, The Weeknd has now revealed that Jim Carrey is featured on his follow-up to After Hours. In the initial announcement trailer for the Canadian artist’s fifth studio album, Carrey was included in a list of collaborators which included Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne and Oneohtrix Point Never. Jay Weaver, the bass player and a vocalist for Big Daddy Weave, has died from complications of COVID-19. He was 42. David Bowie‘s estate has sold the artist’s publishing catalog to Warner Chappell Music for “upwards of $250 million USD,” according to a report from Variety.
