Pavement Announce 2022 Reunion Tour Dates
Pavement will reunite next year for an extensive tour that includes dates across the US, UK, and Europe. Following previously announced headlining appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain and NOS Primavera Sound in Porto, Portugal next June, Pavement will embark a 23-date US tour starting in September. The jaunt includes multiple dates in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Atlanta. The pioneering alt-rockers will then cross the Atlantic for a second time, this time to playing tour dates in the UK, France, Germany, and beyond. Alice Cooper Announces Winter 2022 US Tour
Having just wrapped up his fall outing, Alice Cooper has announced brief 2022 US winter tour. He has also confirmed that his annual “Christmas Pudding” charity concert will return on December 4th of this year in Phoenix, Arizona. Cooper’s next tour leg will kick off on January 28th in Cincinnati, Ohio, and wrap up on February 8th in Orlando. The day after that, Cooper will hit the high seas as host of the Monsters of Rock Cruise. However, the shock rock legend does have one more party planned for 2021. After taking a year off due to the pandemic, his annual holiday bash “Christmas Pudding” is back for its 19th iteration. Your Old Droog has already dropped three albums in 2021, and he may be gearing up for a fourth with the release of the new song “Yuri.” While no LP has been announced, the description on the YouTube video notes that “Yuri” is the “First ‘Official’ Single from New YOD Album.” As an opening statement, it marks a sonic departure from his previous 2021 releases, TIME and his two collaborations with Tha God Fahim, Tha Wolf on Wall St and Tha YOD Fahim. “Yuri” is named after cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human being in space. Judge Tosses Out Restraining Order Requests Filed Against Josh Homme on Behalf of Sons
On Friday, a judge dismissed the pending restraining order petitions filed against Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme on behalf of his two young sons. Judge Lawrence Riff ruled that Homme’s ex-wife and the boys’ mother, Brody Dalle, had sought the restraining orders without the proper court authorization, according to Rolling Stone. The petitions previously failed to win emergency approval. A restraining order taken out against Homme by the former couple’s 15-year-old daughter remains in place.
