Andrew W.K. has postponed his US tour until 2022, something not unusual for the current state of the world. But he also went one step further by mysteriously deleting all of his social media accounts. The “Party Hard” rocker was set to embark on a string of shows in September, but only ended up playing his festival gigs at Rocklahoma and Riot Fest. His headlining shows have been pushed to 2022. As MetalSucks points out, in a since-deleted FB post, it was announced, “Andrew W.K.’s 2021 tour dates are being rescheduled for 2022. Los Angeles Mandates Full COVID-19 Vaccination for Indoor Concerts and Movie Theaters
Los Angeles is the latest municipality to pass a broad mandate requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to enter indoor concerts, movie theaters, restaurants, gyms, nail salons, coffee shops, and more. Proof of a recent negative COVID test will not be accepted instead. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the ordinance passed the council on an 11-2 vote, and is expected to take effect November 4th. Diplo Under Criminal Investigation Following Allegations of Sexual Misconduct: Report
The Los Angeles city attorney’s office is investigating allegations of sexual misconduct against Thomas Wesley Pentz, also known by his stage name Diplo, according to a Buzzfeed News report. The city is mulling charges of invasion of privacy and intentionally spreading a sexually transmitted infection. The investigation is rooted in a 2020 complaint to the LAPD, in which a 25-year-old woman accused Diplo of knowingly giving her chlamydia, recording sexually explicit videos of her without her consent, and distributing at least one of those videos.
