After a few months of undergoing treatment on the down-low, Mark Hoppus has revealed his exact type of cancer. The Blink-182 singer/bassist confirmed in a recent Twitch Q&A that he’s been diagnosed with 4-A diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, the same type of cancer his mother survived. In his words: “My blood’s trying to kill me.” Hoppus specified that he would soon be going in for a PET scan to determine the effects of his chemotherapy so far. “Ideally I go in tomorrow and they say, ‘Congratulations! Foo Fighters had planned to play The Forum in Los Angeles this weekend, but on Wednesday night the group announced that they were pushing the show to a later date because of a positive COVID-19 test within their team. “Despite having made every effort to follow CDC Covid protocols and local laws, there has been a confirmed Covid-19 case within the Foo Fighters organization,” the band’s announcement read on Instagram. “Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, Saturday’s show at the Los Angeles Forum is being postponed to a later date. This fall, Harry Styles will embark on a lengthy US tour in support of his latest album, Fine Line. Ahead of its launch date, the singer has made a number of adjustments to the tour’s itinerary. Due to COVID-19 restrictions varying by state, the “Fine Line Tour” kick off a month later than originally planned. The first date is now scheduled for September 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada. In took 26 years, but Foo Fighters are finally heading to Alaska. As part of their upcoming North America tour, Dave Grohl have announced a trio of shows in the 49th state. Specifically, they’ll play two shows at Anchorage’s Dena’ina Center on August 17th and 19th and a gig at Carlson Center in Fairbanks on August 21st. The dates make Foo Fighters’ first-ever ones in Alaska. The Alaska concerts are part of an increasingly lengthy tour schedule that gets going at the end of July.
