<span class="localtime" data-ltformat="F j, Y | g:ia" data-lttime="2021-04-08T15:04:27+00:00“>April 8, 2021 | 11:04am ET Legendary guitarist and gun-toting purveyor of extreme right-wing views Ted Nugent has a bone to pick with the COVID-19 shutdown. He wonders why we didn’t have shutdowns during COVID-1 through 18, mistakenly thinking that COVID-19 is the 19th iteration of the contagious disease. Lamenting the fact that he won’t be back on the road anytime soon, The Nuge took to Facebook Live (transcribed by Blabbermouth) to declare, “This year’s tour is canceled again. The production companies won’t let us tour again this year. Dirty bastard, lying, scam, smoke-and-mirrors COVID-19 freaks.” That’s when he mistakenly and hilariously used non-factual lo...

The psychedelic lines fit a song called “The Melting of the Sun” perfectly, as do the drawings of the legends mentioned in the song’s lyrics like Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, and Tori Amos. St. Vincent Performs In A Crystal Ball In Dreamy ‘The Melting Of The Sun’ Music Video

When St. Vincent debuted her newest track, “The Melting of the Sun,” on Saturday Night Live on April 3, she sat the portrait of a ‘70s superstar in a heavy fur coat and a glittering white and pink dress with her electric guitar in hand. Though it was visually gorgeous, there was a tender, haunting quality to the performance that lay simmering just beneath its surface. A mix of beauty and tragedy simultaneously. That contradiction takes center stage in song’s accompanying music video, which was released on Wednesday (April 7). Part of the 38-year-old singer/songwriter’s upcoming album Daddy’s Home, which will be released on May 14, the clip instantly fits in well with the album’s already clear aesthetic; it’s a boldly colored, ‘70s-inspired ha...

They’re releasing their self-titled debut album later this spring, and today they’re previewing it with a new single called “Jour 1”. In her solo discography, Deland makes a shadowy blend of folktronica and art-pop, and many of her sonic overtones are a natural fit for Ouri’s dense, murky electro-R&B compositions. Back in 2018, the two linked up for just eight days of studio time, where they quickly connected and...
