DMX Hospitalized in Grave Condition Following Drug Overdose
DMX is reportedly in grave condition following a drug overdose. According to TMZ, the 50-year-old rapper was taken to a hospital in White Plains, New York on Friday night and is being treated in the ICU. The overdose reportedly caused DMX to suffer a heart attack. One source familiar with the situation told TMZ that he is in a “vegetative state,” while another source said he has “some brain activity.” DMX has spoken openly about his addiction to crack cocaine, and had received in-patient treatment as recently as 2019. Tool and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan has shared a touching short film, An Easter Story, which tells the story of the ducks he raises in Arizona’s Verde Valley. Keenan shot and narrated the film, which is scored by Nagual del Judith’s mix of Puscifer’s “A Humbling River”. The story focuses on one duck in particular, Larry, who Keenan raised from a duckling. When Larry goes missing, Keenan is sent on a search that would lead him to unexpected philosophical revelations regarding the season of spring, Easter egg hunts, and the meaning of renewal. Pearl Jam to Stream 2010 Hard Rock Calling Performance
Pearl Jam have teamed up with the livestreaming website nugs.net to help tide fans over as they wait for the return of live music. On Friday, the alt-rock icons will stream pro-shot footage of their performance at the 2010 Hard Rock Calling Festival in Hyde Park, London. The nugs.net archives already include 400 different Pearl Jam concert recordings, but this one will be only be available to watch throughout the weekend. The 27-song set included tracks from classic Pearl Jam albums like Ten, Vitalogy, and Vs., as well as a bunch of songs from their 2009 record Backspacer, which they were touring in support of at the time.
