Tommy Lee Guests on New Post Malone Song Called “Tommy Lee”

Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee has revealed that he’s playing drums on a new Post Malone track, and that the song itself is called “Tommy Lee”. In an interview with SiriusXM, Lee spilled the beans on the track, saying, “I’m playing drums on this Post Malone song that’s coming up – and if you can believe it, the song is called ‘Tommy Lee’.” He went on to say, “It’s killer. It’s basically about living that rock star life that people in hip-hop always seem to talk about.” As for his contribution, Lee explained, “The track is recorded and has some demo drums on it, but I’m going to smash over those.” Lee is promoting his upcoming solo album, ANDRO, having just released two singles off the LP last week. Last month saw Rico Nasty contribute a song called “My Little Alien” to the new Scooby-Doo movie, and join IDK on “495” for the Showtime doc Basketball County. The rapper is back today with more soundtrack work, this time for the latest season of HBO’s Insecure. Power Trip Release Surprise Album Live In Seattle 05.28.2018: Stream

Modern thrash-metal masters Power Trip just dropped a surprise on fans, releasing the full concert album Live In Seattle 05.28.2018. Power Trip have risen up the metal ranks thanks in large part to their dynamic high-energy live shows. The new album captures the band’s May 28th, 2018 gig at Seattle’s Neumos club, where they played during their tour with Sheer Mag, Red Death, and Fury. The 11-song set has been mixed and mastered by the band’s front of house engineer, Zachary Rippy. Among the songs played that evening are fan favorites like “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe)”, “Firing Squad”, and “Soul Sacrifice”. Bob Dylan Reveals Rough and Rowdy Ways Tracklist

Bob Dylan has unveiled the track list for his forthcoming new studio album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, which due out June 19th via Columbia Records. The great bard revealed all 10 tracks in a folksy video on his Instagram account. As expected, the tracklist album features previously released singles: “False Prophet”, “I Contain Multitudes”, and, yes, the 17-minute closer “Murder Most Foul”. As previously reported, the album marks his first release of entirely new material in eight years (specifically, 2012’s Tempest). On Thursday evening, the singer-songwriter shared a message on Twitter, reporting that he’s recovering from a nasty motorcycle accident earlier this month, complete with a photo from the hospital room. Titled “I Remember Everything”, the meditative, acoustic track arrives in the form of intimate, home video footage capturing the great bard himself. Produced by Dave Cobb, “I Remember Everything” was written by Prine and his longtime collaborator Pat McLaughlin. The movie, titled The Night of the Beast, is currently in post-production. According to Variety, the narrative film centers on Bogotá teenagers Vargas and Chuki, who head out to see an Iron Maiden show in Colombia. While the movie itself is fictional, it is based on true events of 2008, when metalheads journeyed to see the iconic metal band play its first concert in the Latin American country.
