The Los Angeles bass community will finally get to experience the beautiful chaos that is a Deadbeats show.  In early April Zeds Dead announced they would be taking their beloved label on a new coast-to-coast run across the United States, aptly titled “Deadbeats: The Revival” tour. After over a year of no live events, the duo is ready to bring the gang out in full-production fashion with 13 shows slated to begin in September. Last month was a doozy for dubstep fans, as MUST DIE!, Skream, and Akeos set Twitter on fire by teasing their upcoming mega-collaboration. Just over a month later, they’ve released their hotly anticipated single “LOL OK” on Never Say Die.  “LOL OK” is exactly what we’ve been dreaming of, combining each artist’s expertise into a four-minute weapon. The melodic intro is disrupted by a distorted vocal sample, which quickly transforms into a barrage of clanging synths. The overall futuristic sound speaks volumes about the track, as it conveys a feeling of advancement through the genre. MUST DIE! Announces New Full-Length Album, “CRISIS VISION”

Bass music virtuoso MUST DIE! has announced he is releasing a new full-length album, CRISIS VISION. The album will be MUST DIE!’s first in over six years following his seminal debut, 2014’s Death & Magic. That record featured a number of tracks that are considered to be highly influential in the electronic music scene, such as the house hybrid “Hellcat” and dubstep banger “Gem Shards,” the latter of which Skrillex famously rinsed in countless live DJ sets. In March, MUST DIE! announced that he has a collaboration in the works with electronic music legend Skream and young gun Akeos. Skream Reveals Collaboration With MUST DIE! and Akeos

It looks like a dream collaboration between three influential electronic music artists may soon hit streaming platforms. Pioneering producer Skream took to Twitter to drop a serendipitous bomb of an announcement today, March 12th, revealing a collaboration with MUST DIE! and Akeos. The reveal lit a fuse in the tweet’s reply section, which erupted with glee from many of the artists’ contemporaries.
