Armin van Buuren Releases Vintage Trance Mix of Collaboration With Alesso, “Leave A Little Love”

Armin van Buuren has delivered a new progressive trance mix of his single with Alesso, “Leave A Little Love.” From the minute the original track was teased, fans were instantly excited to hear what the duo would sound like together, as it was their first collaborative project. Now, seemingly as a gift to his longtime listeners, van Buuren released the “Club Mix” of the song, a vintage trance rendition that falls more in line with A State of Trance than it does with traditional radio. It’s immediately apparent from the first few seconds of the song that it is a pretty significant departure from the more pop-friendly sound of the original. While the catchy lyrics are still in place, the vocals in the club mix are more of a compliment to the chugging progres...

Deorro is on a mission to fuse the Latin and electronic music markets into one with his unique approach to production. He’s now back with the second offering, titled “Si Tú No Estás Aquí,” a collaboration with LÚA. The track is relentless from front to back, striking listeners with a flurry of synths that float atop a pounding bassline. “Jericho” will serve as a hype-inducing weapon in both artists’ setlists for years to come.  Although The Bloody Beetroots has already experienced ...

Members of the Gaslight Anthem and New Jersey’s Other Favorite Rockers Come Together With New Sound as Forgivers

There’s a good chance that you’ve never heard of Forgivers, but you’ve definitely heard of some of their members’ other bands. Comprised of vocalist Jed Winokur of the Ratchets, guitarist Alex Rosamilia and bassist Alex Levine of the Gaslight Anthem, and drummer Trevor Reddell of Let Me Run and D’Arcy (who also plays in Dead Swords with Rosamilia), Forgivers already have more experience than pretty much any other “new” band breaking on to the scene. But rather than rehashing the type of Americana punk vibes the various bands are known for, the quartet decided to channel a more British sound in the vein of bands like the Cure and Oasis. While it’s undeniably a new direction for most of the artists involved in the project, the band’s first track, “Some Future,” certainly makes it seem like i...
