Blink-182’s Unleash ‘Quarantine’ From Upcoming EP
Blink-182 released their new single, “Quarantine,” today amid the usual flurry of New Music Friday releases. Listen below. The song, first announced on Wednesday via the band’s Twitter, arrives less than a year after the release of their most recent LP, Nine. “Quarantine” is a return to form of sorts for the trio after spending much of the Matt Skiba era partnering with artists outside of their usual genre (Lil Wayne, Steve Aoki, the Chainsmokers) and making time for their various other projects. The punk legends in Bad Religion released a new, symphonic take on one of their classic tracks. Rather than the traditional combination of two guitars, a bass, and drums backing Greg Graffin’s vocals, the iconic singer is alone with a piano for the beginning of “Faith Alone” (originally on 1990’s Against the Grain) before being joined by strings.
