Lana Del Rey Releases Three Songs From Blue Banisters
If nothing else, 2021 has been quite busy for Lana Del Rey. She released Chemtrails Over the Country Club in March and since then has teased several other new releases this year. Now, we can hear what she’s been up to. Del Rey released three new songs on Thursday, including the previously teased “Blue Banisters,” “Text Book” and “Wildflower Wildfire.” You can hear the tunes below. While it’s not certain whether the promised June 1 release date of “Rock Candy Sweet” is an album or part of Blue Banisters, which is slated for July 4, but either way, this is all part of what would be Del Rey’s eighth studio effort. Bono Releases New Song ‘Eden: To Find Love’ for Citizen Penn Film
U2 frontman Bono takes a solo spin with his vocals on “Eden: To Find Love,” a song co-written and produced by Linda Perry. It’s the only artist-driven tune on the soundtrack of Citizen Penn, a film about Sean Penn’s organization J/PHRO (now CORE) in the wake of the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. Perry, of 4 Non Blondes fame, scored the soundtrack, which comes out via Lakeshore Records on May 21. After multiple setbacks and schedule changes, Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer’s ballyhooed Hella Mega Tour is finally happening. On Monday morning (May 17), the trio announced the rescheduled dates for the stadium tour, which kicks off July 24 in Dallas and now includes new stops in Columbus, Ohio at Crew Stadium and at Milwaukee’s Summerfest.
