New Order and Pet Shop Boys Reschedule North American “Unity Tour” for 2022

After initially aiming for fall of 2020, the dates were postponed and then postponed again. The bands are now hoping the third time will be the charm and are rescheduling the trek for fall of 2022. Blondie Announce New Graphic Novel Against the Odd
Blondie have announced a new graphic novel called Against the Odds. It’s a collaboration with Z2 Comics that will illustrate the story of the iconic new-wave band’s rise in the New York art and fashion world. The book is Blondie’s first foray into the world of comics, but they’re the only newbies involved with the project. Against the Odds was illustrated by the acclaimed comic book artist John McCrea, and it was co-written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti — the duo who penned DC Comics’ relaunch of Harley Quinn. With vivid color, the book will chronicle the band’s come-up in Manhattan’s notorious punk and art world of the 1970s. The pair performed the Soft Cell hit “Tainted Love” from their own bed, with a little sexual innuendo thrown into the visual. Gary Numan will return on May 21st with a new album called Intruder. Intruder serves as Numan’s 18th studio album overall and follows 2017’s Savage: Songs From a Broken World. Per a press release, Intruder presents a “fresh but complementary narrative” to Savage, which depicted Earth as a barren wasteland in which humanity and culture had been largely crushed by the effects of global warming. As Numan himself explains, “Intruder looks at climate change from the planet’s point of view. If Earth could speak, and feel things the way we do, what would it say? How would it feel?
