Insomniac’s longest-running festival, Nocturnal Wonderland, is set to return September 18-19 at San Bernardino’s Glen Helen Amphitheater with a jam-packed lineup for its 26th edition. Flux Pavilion, deadmau5, Kill the Noise, Malaa, LP Giobbi, and many more will take the stage. Also appearing will be Sian, who will be performing a “techno classics” set, as well as Downlink and Modestep, who will be dropping a B2B drum & bass set. Lil Nas X has announced “Industry Baby,” the latest single from his upcoming debut album, Montero. Co-produced by Kanye West and Lil Nas X’s frequent collaborators Take a Daytrip, the track features Louisville rapper Jack Harlow. As a teaser, Lil Nas X shared a video spoofing his “Satan shoe” controversy, in which the rapper imagines a full-blown trial over his controversial limited-edition collaboration with the New York-based art collective MSCHF. Circle Jerks have once again rescheduled their North American 40th anniversary tour. The hardcore-punk legends’ updated itinerary features a series of separate legs that run from September of this year through May of next year, with Municipal Waste, Adolescents, and Negative Approach providing support on select dates. Originally, Circle Jerks had planned to tour in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their landmark debut album, Group Sex, beginning in May of 2020. Those dates were postponed to spring of 2021 due to the pandemic, but were since delayed again. Now, the legendary band plans to hit the road for a few dates in early September (including appearances at Riot Fest and Punk Rock Bowling), before playing three shows in the Southwest in late October. It’s been a long and bumpy road, but Clerks 3 is finally coming to fruition Earlier Monday, news broke that Lionsgate officially picked up Kevin Smith’s upcoming sequel. Pre-production for Clerks 3 is currently underway in New Jersey, and production will kick off next month. According to Deadline, the cast will include major key players from the first two Clerks films, including Jeff Anderson as Randal, Brian O’Halloran as Dante, Jason Mewes as Jay, Smith as Silent Bob, and Rosario Dawson as Becky. Smith tweeted that Elias, who debuted in Clerks II, will also appear in Clerks 3. Smith has already written the screenplay for Clerks 3, and will serve as the movie’s director, as is par for the course with his filmography. Eddie Vedder‘s fifth annual music extravaganza Ohana Festival can’t be contained in just one weekend. In addition to the previously announced event scheduled for September 24th-26th, the Pearl Jam frontman has just announced Ohana Encore, a bonus festival that will return to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California for October 1st-2nd. Due to overwhelming demand, the encore weekend will of course include headlining sets by Pearl Jam on both Friday and Saturday nights. It marks the band’s only additional concert dates for 2021, and perhaps their only gigs for a while considering Pearl Jam’s own Jeff Ament isn’t comfortable playing indoor shows or “checking vaccination cards” for fans just yet. The venue certainly seems to be big enough for an artist of Yeezy’s magnitude, and the Kanye West Presents: Donda Listening Event will go down Thursday, July 22 at 8PM ET.
