Jared Drake Bell, best known for Nickelodeon’s Drake and Josh, has been sentenced to two years probation for child endangerment, People reports. He is also required to complete 200 hours of community service. Charges were brought against the former child star in early June, and on June 24th he pleaded guilty to felony attempted child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. On Monday, July 12th, the 35-year-old actor appeared virtually in a Cleveland court to hear his sentence. His victim, now 19, made a public statement for the first time during the hearing. She called the actor, “The epitome of evil,” claiming that he began grooming her at the age of 12 and allegedly sexually abused her at the age of 15, sending her photos of...
Back in March, Thom Yorke created a new remix of the Radiohead classic “Creep” to soundtrack fashion designer Jun Takahashi’s Undercover Fall 2021 fashion show Creep Very. Now, Yorke has officially released the full version of the song, and you can stream it ahead. As fans are well aware, Radiohead aren’t exactly fans of the Pablo Honey, often only playing it reluctantly as it’s “expected” at this point in their career. So perhaps, then, it’s not terribly surprising that Yorke has chosen to make the song worse for what’s called “Creep (Very 2021 Rmx).” Slowed down like someone’s dragging a record to the point that Yorke’s vocals sound like a techno-codeine trip, the song is more than twice as long as the original cut. It’s also credited to “Thom Yorke featuring Radiohead,” which hurts...
When Donald Trump entered the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 264 over the weekend, he was greeted by a chorus of “U-S-A” to drown out the scattered boos. But one other attendee gave the ex-POTUS a special hailing, as video shows Mel Gibson saluting Trump as he walked to his seat. Saturday’s headline bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirer drew a star-studded crowd, bringing out everyone from Dave Chappelle to Justin Bieber. Trump’s attendance wasn’t terribly surprising, as UFC head Dana White is his longtime friend, and Irish national/ultimate heel McGregor once called the head of a recently indicted organization a “phenomenal” president. And to be fair, events like UFC are unifying regardless of political affiliation. Still, watching Gibson, a man known for his bigoted and craz...

“I feel blessed to have a voice in this period because, one, I’m not a street artist, and two, I’m not Black,” the Louisville, Ky.-based MC told Footwear News. “The only thing keeping me here right now is that level of authenticity, of being myself.” He recalled his previous conversations with his friend and fellow Kentucky rapper Nemo Achida, who is Black, about the state of hip-hop following the resurgent Black Lives Matter movement last summer. Harlow has joked about the white kids being invited to the party before in his single “Tyler Herro,” when he raps, “I brought a gang to the party with me/ Five white boys, but they not *NSYNC.” But he believes the genre is now headed toward a direction that brings the focus back to the Black co...

Montgomery asked Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny on July 7 to approve that the 24/7 protection she requested be paid for by the conservatorship, which could cost up to $50,000 a month. Jamie’s attorney Vivian Lee Thoreen filed an opposition the next day, arguing that Montgomery “is not the only person involved in this Conservatorship who has received threatening communications and/or death threats” and suggested other feasible options for security. Montgomery also said in the documents that she and Jamie “should be working as a team to ensure that Ms. Spears’ best interests are being met, that she is on a path to recovery and termination of her conservatorship, and that she is living her best life possible. Instead, Mr. Spea...
